Joan Rivers Comments on Plastic Surgery
A recent article contains some of Joan Rivers' comments on plastic surgery. Here is an excerpt:

If you want to raise your breasts, it will tell you every thing you want to know."To research the guide, which offers helpful information on the gamut of cosmetic surgery options, she and her co-writer interviewed 25 plastic surgeons. "They are so boring, these men," she said... In spite of the title, which she claims is something Marilyn Monroe once said to her, Rivers recommends plastic surgery as "something you should do for yourself.""But society is based on looks," she said. "And anyone that says that's not so, is an idiot. If you think big boobs make you look nice, put them in."Men should have work done too, she said. "I hate a turkey neck on anyone."Always up front about her own plastic surgery, which she began in college with her nose being "thinned, not fixed," Rivers added a postscript to anyone who doesn't think they need it. Denise Richards Looking For Love
Denise Richards is struggling to find a new man.
The 'Wild Things' actress, who is divorced from Charlie Sheen and previously dated rocker Richie Sambora, wants to find love and is tired of being romantically linked to every guy she is seen with.
When asked if she is dating, Denise said: "I am dating-ish. It is hard.
"If you're out in public with someone, then people automatically think you're with them, so it can be difficult. I haven't quite figured out how to meet somebody. That is the -ish part.
"Let's say I am not engaged to anyone."
Denise filed for divorce from Charlie in 2005 after three years of marriage.
The pair - who have two daughters, four-year-old Sam and Lola Rose, three - battled over custody of their kids and Denise sought a restraining order against Charlie after claiming he had threatened to kill her.
Denise is now reluctant to take a new man home because she is afraid it will upset her kids.
I am dating-ish. It is hard.
The 38-year-old beauty added to US talk show host Ellen DeGeneres: "I don't want to bring someone around my children who have been through enough."
Denise admits she struggled to cope with divorcing Charlie and the death of her mother Joni in 2007, saying: "It was probably the worst few years of my life."
She added: "Before my mom passed away she would always say, 'You're a lot stronger than you think. You'll get through it.'
"Then she passed away, so I had to deal with that, which was really difficult. I could've gone one way or the other, and I have two little girls, so I needed to be a parent. There is a lot of stuff obviously they don't know, but I had to move forward."

Fears have been raised for 'The O.C.' star's health after she dropped three dress sizes in three months - but Mischa insists she is feeling great.

Owen Wilson and Kate Hudson have sparked speculation they've rekindled their romance.
The pair were snapped wearing dark glasses and hats as they sat together on a park bench in Paris.
It is thought Owen, 40, and Kate, 29, have been touring the French capital on bikes.
They first started dating in 2006 but split in 2007.

Chris Brown's Anger Lessons
Chris Brown is having anger management lessons.
The 'Run It' singer, who allegedly beat up his girlfriend Rihanna earlier this month, has reportedly been advised the classes will help him when he appears in court on suspicion of making criminal threats next month.
A source said: "Chris doesn't actually have to go by law, but he believes it will make him look better to the public, and he wants to try to get in a few classes before his court date on March 5."
Chris - who recently released a statement saying he was "sorry and saddened over what transpired" - is believed to have attended his first class in California on Monday (23.02.09).
It has also been claimed 21-year-old Rihanna has a bad temper and the pair had several heated arguments before the incident in Chris' car on February 7.
The source added to the New York Daily News newspaper: "Rihanna is temperamental, too. They're both too hot-headed for their own good.
"It didn't help that Rihanna grabbed the keys out of his rented Lamborghini and threw them down the street. She knew it would really infuriate Chris, and it worked."
Rihanna was allegedly left with bruises and cuts to her mouth, forehead and cheeks after Chris, 19, attacked her.
It is believed the Barbados-born beauty will be required to appear at her estranged lover's court trial, forcing the pair to see each other for the first time since Chris was arrested.
The source explained: "Rihanna will be there, she has to testify. If Chris is convicted, it would be his first offence. He won't go to prison. "

Jonas Brothers Love Rick Astley
The Jonas Brothers are obsessed with Rick Astley.
The musical trio are big fans of the 80s British singer - who caused an upset by winning Best Act Ever at last year's MTV Europe Music Awards after becoming a YouTube sensation - and regularly cover his most famous hit.
Kevin said: "A big one for us that we sing all the time is Rick Astley's 'Never Gonna Give You Up'.
"Have you ever seen him, by the way? His voice does not match his body!"
The band - which also features Nick and Joe - also revealed they are desperate to win a Grammy Award and dream of touring with 'Purple Rain' singer Prince.
Kevin added: "I think to perform with Prince would be incredible. I think that would be one of the best things of all time."
Meanwhile, the Jonas Brothers are looking forward to attending the Kids' Choice Awards in Los Angeles next month.
The stars - who won Favourite Music Group last year - are hoping to pick up the accolade again and are also keen to get into the spirit of the ceremony by being covered in slime.
Kevin said: "We were almost slimed just by getting hugged by Jack Black when we were on the stage last year. Maybe it's our year. We'll have to see."
Each year, buckets of green goo are poured on the 'chosen ones' - the viewer's favourite celebrities.
The group - who will perform at the event on March 28 at UCLA's Pauley Pavilion - are participating in a contest called Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Jonas Jam Sweepstakes.
Two lucky fans will accompany the Jonas Brothers to the ceremony in a limo, win $1,000 and get a four-day trip to Los Angeles.

More Details on Usher's Wife Tameka Foster's Plastic Surgery Complications
More details are emerging regarding the complications suffered by Usher's wife Tameka Foster as she underwent liposuction surgery while in Brazil. Apparently her doctor, Brazilian plastic surgeon Dr. Silvio Sterman, planned to perform liposuction on her while she was only two months postpartum. After being placed under general anesthesia she suffered a cardiac arrest and was revived via CPR. She was then placed into a drug-induced coma in order to run tests and make sure she was stabilized. She has now been discharged from the hospital and is said to be "doing very well."
I do not perform any cosmetic surgery on women who are less than 6 months postpartum. There is no scientific studies which determine that 6 months is a mandatory time frame, but I believe the changes that occur in a woman's body (both physical and hormonal) can persist for months after a baby is born. Liposuction just 2 months after giving birth? In my opinion that is too soon.

Actress insists they're just close friends
Kristen Stewart has rubbished reports she's seeing her Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson.
The pair play lovers in the teen vampire flick.
But Kristen, who has dated actor Michael Angarano since 2006, insists they're not an item off-screen.
'Rob and I are good friends,’ she tells Nylon. ‘We went through a lot together, so we feel very close.
‘If we go out in public, every little detail is scrutinized, like the way I stand next to him.'
Kristen, 18, and Rob, 22, will reprise their roles in sequel New Moon, due out in November.
Meanwhile, studio bosses have just given the green light for a third film in the series.

Reality TV star is preparing them for the worst
Jade Goody has finally found a way of telling her sons Freddie and Bobby that she's dying.
The Big Brother star has been told by doctors that she may only have weeks to live.
‘I have a book that the hospital gave me,’ she says. ‘It’s about a badger that’s dying and it explains about heaven and where people go.
'But I think my boys know now that I’m dying. Yeah, I think they do now. I’m going to read the book to them so they know what happens when I’m gone.’
But Jade, 27, is dreading the moment when she has to leave them.
‘The doctors will know when it’s time and they will tell me when it’s right for me to say goodbye to them,’ she says.
‘It’ll be so hard to do it, knowing I will never see them again, but I want them to see me before I get really poorly.
'Then I’d like to think that Jack and my close friends would be there around me when I do go.’

Madonna's Orphanage Donation
Madonna has donated clothes to the orphanage where her adopted son used to live.
The 50-year-old singer sent a box of clothes, books and toys to the Home of Hope Orphanage Centre in Malawi, where David Banda, now three, lived before Madonna adopted him in 2006.
The package - which also included autographed copies of the star's children's books 'English Roses' - had a label on it saying "From David Ritchie to friends at Home of Hope - Malawi."
A source said: "These are clothes David can no longer use, they say he is quite a big boy now so he cannot use most of the clothes Madonna bought him immediately after he was adopted.
"The children were excited to receive the clothes."
Director of the orphanage Lucy Chipeta said they had received the parcel but refused to confirm it was from Madonna, saying: "We have lots of friends across the globe who send us stuff from time to time."
The orphanage looks after about 500 children.
David's father Yohane Banda decided his son should live there when he was one month old, after his mother Marita died from complications relating to childbirth.
Madonna found David through Raising Malawi, a charity she set up, when she was in the country helping build another orphanage.

Watchmen Come To London
'Watchmen' received its world premiere in London's Leicester Square last night (23.02.09).
Stars of the film including Matthew Goode, Billy Crudup, Jackie Earle Haley, Carla Gugino, director Zack Snyder and co-creator Dave Gibbons walked down a special yellow carpet for the event.
Jackie believes the current world political climate makes the film - which follows a group of costumed, crime-fighting vigilante superheroes who are outlawed from using force and integrated into normal society - extremely relevant.
Jackie - who plays one of the central characters, Rorschach - told BANG Showbiz: "I had to gaze into the abyss for months and months to get into the mindset of this character.
"I think he has affected me more than I realised. Especially with everything that's going on with the world, I can just see how the self centered behaviour is excused and justified.

'Watchmen' is an adaptation from an award-winning comic book series.
The special effects laden, big budget film has been in the making for a number of years, with the project stalling at several stages of production.
Alan Moore, the creator of the comic book series, distanced himself from the film.
However, co-creator and original illustrator of the comic books Gibbons is happy with the end result.
He said: "Less than a week ago I saw the finished thing. I thoroughly enjoyed it, it absolutely lifted me.
"I think it faithfully represented the drawing, detail and the composition of the comics but even more than that it's got the weight of it, the moral ambiguity of the original. I think it's amazingly on message."

Portia De Rossi Denies IVF
Portia de Rossi is not trying to get pregnant.
The 'Arrested Development' star - who married talk show host Ellen DeGeneres last year - says rumours she is having in vitro fertilisation (IVF) are "completely made up".
She said: "There's a story around right now about me that could not be further from the truth. The IVF story. That was just completely made up."
It's not the first time the 36-year-old actress has been the subject of pregnancy rumours.
She added to US TV show 'Access Hollywood': "The baby thing comes around annually. I find once a year whether I deny it or not. It doesn't make any difference."
Well, I don't know what she's going to ask me! I mean, really on the spot. You know? No, it'll be really fun. I think she'll go pretty easy on me.
But a rumour Portia is pleased to confirm is her upcoming appearance on her wife's daytime talk show 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show'.

Jamie Spears Attacks Ex-manager
Britney Spears' father has branded her ex-manager a "dangerous predator".
Jamie Spears made the comments while giving his testimony at a Los Angeles court on Monday (23.02.09), where he was attempting to maintain a restraining order which keeps Sam Lutfi away from Britney.
Jamie - who is co-conservator of Britney's personal and professional affairs - said: "When Lutfi was in so-called control, she'd lost everything - her kids and career. I believe he's a predator, I believe he's very dangerous to her and causes her a lot of anguish and disbelief. We've asked him to go away before, and now he's coming back. We just want the man to go away. Just leave us alone."
Jamie also insists he will do everything in his power to keep Britney's ex-boyfriend paparazzo Adnan Ghalib away from the 27-year-old singer.
The concerned parent - who now runs every aspect of Britney's life, including monitoring her phone calls - also claims the pop star's security team recently confiscated a pre-paid phone which was given to her by Sam and Adnan.
In court papers, Sam denies he has been harassing Britney.
He claims the singer has been contacting him via text message, even though she is forbidden to do so by a court order.
The former manager admits he has passed messages to Britney via her hairdresser, but insists they were not harmful.
However, Jamie claims he has received several threatening messages from someone known as 'citygalin310' and is adamant they are from Sam.
The hearing will resume on Wednesday (25.02.09).

Jade Goody marries Jack Tweed in fairytale wedding
Jade Goody, the reality television star diagnosed with terminal cancer, has fulfilled her dying wish by marrying fiancé Jack Tweed.
As with every other stage in Goody's life since she found fame on Big Brother seven years ago, the ceremony took place amid a media circus.
A television crew was on hand to capture the moment Goody, 27, exchanged vows with fiancé Jack Tweed, while a celebrity magazine paid £750,000 for the exclusive picture rights.
Goody organised the wedding in just seven days after learning she has weeks to live. She was diagnosed with cervical cancer in August and chemotherapy treatment failed to halt the spread of the disease
"It was a very heart-rending, happy ceremony. There were lots of tears and lots of smiles. She looked absolutely beautiful," said her publicist, Max Clifford, adding that the wedding had lifted her spirits: "She's absolutely thrilled. She's like a little one who has just woken up on Christmas Day."
Guests at the venue, Down Hall in Hertfordshire, dined on lobster tagliatelle and were serenaded by pop group Sugababes.
The bride wore a £3,500 gown donated by Harrods boss Mohamed Fayed. The 21-year-old groom wore an electronic tag, a condition of his early release from prison where he served a sentence for assault. The couple were able to spend their wedding night together after Jack Straw, the Justice Secretary, relaxed Tweed's curfew.
Despite her failing health, Goody was determined to walk down the aisle and a pocket was sewn into the lining of her dress to conceal an intravenous morphine supply. Nurses from the Royal Marsden Hospital were in attendance.
She was given away by her grandfather, John Craddock, who said it was both the happiest and saddest day of his life.
Goody has struck media deals in order to provide for her sons Bobby, five, and Freddie, four, after her death. Proceeds from the wedding will go into a trust fund and she wishes them to be privately educated, giving them the opportunities she was denied. Goody endured a miserable childhood on a council estate in Bermondsey, south London, brought up by a heroin-addicted lesbian mother.
The decision to turn her illness into a public spectacle has left some feeling uneasy. However, she received words of support yesterday from Cardinal Cormac Murphy-O'Connor, Archbishop of Westminster, who urged people to pray for her.
"A lot of people might say it's better if everything is quiet, but I think she's made a decision that she wants the last months of her life to teach people something," he said. Goody hopes her ordeal will dispel some of the taboos surrounding cervical cancer, and doctors report a significant increase in young women requesting smear tests.
Her life has been lived in public ever since her appearance on Channel 4's Big Brother in 2002, when her ignorance – such as a belief that there was a foreign country called "East Angular" - endeared her to the nation.
In 2007, she was branded a racist bully for her treatment of fellow Celebrity Big Brother contestant Shilpa Shetty, and became a national hate figure. Effigies of Goody were burned on the streets of India and she signed up for an Indian version of Big Brother last summer in an attempt to make amends. While there, she received her cancer diagnosis live on television.
Mr Clifford said of Goody's entrance: "She kept him waiting for about 45 minutes, but that's her prerogative, I'm told. It was lovely. The chapel was absolutely beautiful and there must have been close to 200 people there. When they came out after signing the register they got a standing ovation from everybody there."
Goody was unable to stand for the whole ceremony, asking near the end if she could sit down. However, Mr Clifford said: "I think it's a huge relief that she was able to handle it the way she did, because obviously it's been a huge worry to her."
The couple were "thrilled" to be spending what could be their only night of married life together. "They'll be spending the night together here, compliments of Jack Straw. We're very grateful to him for that," he said.

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony celebrate their twins first birthday!
Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are now the proud parents of one year old twins! The couples twins, Max and Emme, turn one on Sunday, but celebrated a day early with a fairly mellow birthday party by Hollywood standards.
The twins birthday party was held at the Bel Air home of Lopez and Anthony. Guests seen arriving with presents, balloons and stuffed animals included Nicole Richie and Joel Madden with their adorable one year old daughter Harlow.
Complete with silver balloons, two moon bouncers, and a clown, the backyard birthday party seemed as tame as any other children's party.
A Birthday cake from Rosebud Cakes and non-alcoholic slush type drinks from The Margarita Man were served, and of course the traditional singing of "Happy Birthday" to Emme and Max completed the celebration.

Mickey Rourke Admits to Plastic Surgery by Hack Surgeon
According to Monsters and Critics, Oscar-nominated actor Mickey Rourke has admitted to having plastic surgery by a hack plastic surgeon. He reportedly stated,
"Most of it was to mend the mess of my face because of the boxing, but I went to the wrong guy to put my face back together... I had my nose broken twice. I had five operations on my nose and one on a smashed cheekbone... I had to have cartilage taken from my ear to rebuild my nose and a couple of operations to scrape out the cartilage because the scar tissue wasn't healing properly. That was one of the most painful operations, but the worst was hemorrhoids."
It's funny that he admits to having hemorrhoids but doesn't admit having a facelift, which he appears to have had. For my opinions on his previous surgery, click here.
I hope he wins the Oscar tonight. I saw his performance in The Wrestler and think it's amazing. He really deserves it. I'd much rather see him win it instead of that smug Sean Penn.

The couple's daughter Harlow Winter Kate Madden was born on 11 January last year.
'I am so happy to tell everyone that Harlow is going to be a big sister!' Joe, 29, writes on the Good Charlotte website under the heading "Better than winning an OSCAR!".
'God has truly blessed my family. Hope [you're] all feeling as good as I am right now.'

Sex and the City sequel movie will address the credit crunch
EVEN Carrie Bradshaw has to tighten her designer belt in a recession.
SARAH JESSICA PARKER’S character may have to tone down her lust for labels in the Sex and the City sequel after the actress revealed the movie will address the credit crunch.
She said: “How do we address these economic times in a franchise that has a lot to do with luxury and labels?”
“How do we do that well? And how do we do that in a not lazy way?
“There is a lot that we have to think about because times are very different. So these are nice challenges, these are good challenges.”
But lack of luxury won’t mean a shortage of fun, promised the star.
“I think we want this one to be a romp. The last one, we got to tell a really mature sophisticated story that had real heartbreak in it, and this time, I think we want a romp. We want our audience to have a massive romp.”

Actress Sienna Miller has said that she's been "at war" with other women because they are "too bitchy" when it comes to judging her.
The 'Factory Girl' star, who fueled a controversy after she was spotted dating married Balthazar Getty, says that women do not have any sisterhood among them unlike men.
"I''ve been at war, without a doubt. I''ve really experienced the judgment of women in the past year," the Mirror quoted her as telling Style Magazine.
The 27-year-old actress added: "We say we want to be equal, but men don''t sit around bitching at each other. There''s no sisterhood."
Miller's comments came with respect to her relationship with the oil heir who insisted he was already separated from his wife when he dated the actress.
