Madonna - Chin Implant?

Madonna's recent appearance in Brazil has sparked rumors she may have had a recent chin augmentation. As you can see by the photo her chin does look a bit prominent, and maybe even swollen from recent surgery. Why would she have this procedure done? I never thought her chin was small in the first place!

Chin implants are placed via small incisions either inside the mouth (my preferred technique) or under the chin. When inserted through the mouth there is no visible scar afterwards. I often see people who come in asking for a rhinoplasty to reduce the size of their nose when the real problem is a tiny chin. A small chin can actually make the nose look bigger than it really is. Just a quick lesson on facial harmony...

Madonna To Stage "disaster" Show

Madonna is set to perform a controversial concert in Russia.

The 'Material Girl' singer wants to stage a show in the main square of St. Petersburg, home of the State Hermitage Museum, in August but local authorities are furious about the plans.

They have branded the proposed event a "natural disaster" and the museum's director, Dr. Mikhail Piotrovski will demand the pop superstar signs an agreement to set out decency and volume levels.

He fumed: "We want guarantees that there will be no blasphemy."

Madonna, 50, is not the first star to be warned about her raunchy stage show.

In October 2007, Beyonce Knowles cancelled her concert in Malaysia after she was told to tone down her performance and follow the Muslim country's strict dress code.

Gwen Stefani was also told to cover up during her Malaysian concert in August 2007.

The flamboyant star wore sober outfits but called it a "major sacrifice".

She put jackets over her tops and leotards underneath her skirts and dresses, to conform to the guidelines during the show.

Worst Dressed Celebrity Madonna

Madonna has been named the Worst Dressed Celebrity of 2009.

The '4 Minutes' singer topped the poll by animal rights group PETA because she continues to wear fur.

In a statement, PETA said: "When you see Madonna in fur, you realise why nobody has copied her style since 1984.

"We know she's on the prowl for a young cur, but someone needs to tell Madonna that wearing fur doesn't make you a cougar."

Other celebrities on the list include Kanye West, Kate Moss, Mary J Blige, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Elizabeth Hurley and Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen.

Despite her unwanted title, Madonna is launching a new fashion line.

The 'Material Girl' singer has teamed up with designer Ed Hardy to create the "innovative" range, which includes tattoo-inspired T-shirts and diamante-encrusted bodices.

Brand owner Christian Audigier approached the 50-year-old singer after he spotted her wearing Ed's tattoo-print clothes.

When you see Madonna in fur, you realise why nobody has copied her style since 1984
He reportedly offered Madonna a six-figure sum to design her own line and even organised a private catwalk show to inspire her.

The musician was seen arriving at Audigier's office last month and will reportedly put the finishing touches to her range this month.

Madonna designed a "cheap and trendy" range for Swedish clothing company H+M in March 2007.

Madonna's Orphanage Donation

Madonna has donated clothes to the orphanage where her adopted son used to live.

The 50-year-old singer sent a box of clothes, books and toys to the Home of Hope Orphanage Centre in Malawi, where David Banda, now three, lived before Madonna adopted him in 2006.

The package - which also included autographed copies of the star's children's books 'English Roses' - had a label on it saying "From David Ritchie to friends at Home of Hope - Malawi."

A source said: "These are clothes David can no longer use, they say he is quite a big boy now so he cannot use most of the clothes Madonna bought him immediately after he was adopted.

"The children were excited to receive the clothes."

Director of the orphanage Lucy Chipeta said they had received the parcel but refused to confirm it was from Madonna, saying: "We have lots of friends across the globe who send us stuff from time to time."

The orphanage looks after about 500 children.

David's father Yohane Banda decided his son should live there when he was one month old, after his mother Marita died from complications relating to childbirth.

Madonna found David through Raising Malawi, a charity she set up, when she was in the country helping build another orphanage.

Madonna Hearing To Be Public

Madonna and Guy Ritchie's custody hearing will be made public.

The legal meeting to decide the arrangements for their two sons - Rocco, eight, and David, three - has been moved to the New York Supreme Court.

Unlike English family law court cases, the inquiry - which will take place on March 2 - will be open to the general public.

Madonna - who also has a daughter, Lourdes, 12, from a previous relationship - is planning to move to New York with her children and needs US courts to ratify a custody deal negotiated in London.

A source said "There is going to be a hearing next month and the papers that have been filed will be available then.

"The New York hearing will confirm the English proceedings. There will be revelations, but the divorce remains amicable and intelligently handled."

She will be forced to provide the court with details about her divorce proceedings, including financial arrangements and demands for her sons' welfare.

Madonna to host Oscars party

Madonna and Demi Moore are throwing an Oscars party.

The 'Hung Up' singer will again team up with her actress friend and her manager Guy Oseary for a glitzy bash on February 22 following the success of the bash they threw last year at Guy's Los Angeles home.

The party will be strictly invitation only, and it should be a star-studded affair as last year's guests included Tom Cruise and his wife Katie Holmes, Ellen DeGeneres and her wife Portia de Rossi, Cameron Diaz and Orlando Bloom.

Despite hosting their own post-awards bash in aid of charity, Sir Elton John and David Furnish also attended the gathering last year after their AIDS Foundation benefit ended.

They will be throwing their party again this year for the 17th time and singer Raphael Saadiq admits he is stunned to have been asked by the couple to perform.

He said: "I won't believe it's happened until it's happened. It's unbelievable."

Vanity Fair magazine will also host their own Oscar night party after taking a break last year due to the Hollywood writers' strike but have promised next week's revelry will be less elaborate than previous functions.

Organisers are planning a smaller guests list and will use recycled decor to help save money and the environment.

Madonna's Ritchie weekend

Madonna and Guy Ritchie have spent the weekend together in New York.

Guy met his ex-wife Madonna at the New York Kabbalah centre just a few days after the singer won custody of their children.

An onlooker said: "Guy was smiling and in good spirits. He still spends time with Madonna as a family."

This was reportedly the second weekend in a row the estranged couple have met at the Kabbalah centre with their children: Rocco, eight, adopted son David, three, and Madonna's daughter Lourdes, 12.

Guy's father, John Ritchie, has recently said the couple are maintaining an amicable relationship because of their children, but he is delighted Madonna is distracting herself with "lots of boyfriends".

The protective father, 79, said: "The worst thing would be if they reconciled."

Meanwhile, the marriage of one Madonna's reported love interests, baseball star Alex Rodriguez, has officially ended.

Documents issued at a US county court stated his marriage to Cynthia was "irretrievably broken".Rodriguez - known as 'A-Rod' - split from his wife of five years in the summer, following reports the sportsman had been dashing out for night time visits to Madonna's New York apartment.

Guy Ritchie's 'worst' reunion

Guy Ritchie's dad says it would be a tragedy if he got back with Madonna.

John Ritchie is pleased his son and the singer have parted ways, and is even more delighted Madonna is distracting herself with "lots of boyfriends" because "she won't be looking for him".

The protective father told In Touch Weekly magazine: "The worst thing would be if they reconciled."

While Guy's dad welcomes the split, he says relations between the pair are amicable and all they care about is the happiness of the children they raise together - 12-year-old Lourdes, eight-year-old Rocco and David, three.

He said: "There are no big arguments between them. All they discuss is the children."
Meanwhile, Madonna, 50, has failed to buy a horse despite throwing money at the owners.

The equine loving star spotted the magnificent beast at the Florida Equestrian Show and asked her staff to secure its purchase.

However, the owners declined the generous offer and delivered a further snub when Madonna offered a New York apartment as well to seal the deal.

Madonna's porn star lover

Madonna's new boyfriend is a secret porn star.

Brazilian model Jesus Luz, 20, guest starred in an erotic movie just weeks before meeting the 50-year-old singer - who is in the process of divorcing British director Guy Ritchie - at a magazine photo shoot.

His appearance in 'Hostel' - a late night Brazilian TV series in which a trio of actresses bring to life sexual fantasies sent in by viewers - saw him portray Diogo, a drunken man who passes out at a party he is attending with his girlfriend.

The topless hunk awakes to find her having sex with another man in front of him.

The show's director Cande Salles said: "He acted very well. He is excellent."

Meanwhile, Madonna has been pictured looking stressed and haggard as she stepped out for dinner with friends Gwyneth Paltrow and her husband Chris Martin shortly after attending a Kabbalah meeting with Guy and the children they raise together, Lourdes, 12, Rocco, eight and three-year-old David.

Madonna - who has been residing in New York since her split from Guy, 40 - reportedly spent Christmas in London with Lourdes, her daughter with former boyfriend Carlos Leon, while the boys spent the festive season at their father's home in Wiltshire.

Although Madonna invited Jesus to join her on the Sao Paolo leg of her 'Sticky and Sweet' world tour after the W magazine shoot, the '4 Minutes' singer is not believed to be pursuing a serious relationship with him.A source recently said: "Everyone knows they are ficando - which is a Portuguese expression that means they are kissing and doing other things but without any obligation of being faithful or getting into a relationship afterwards."

Madonna and Guy Ritchie Settlement as finally been reached

Madonna and Guy Ritchie have dismissed reports that they’re still wrangling over their divorce settlement.

The director has issued a statement insisting they’ve reached a satisfactory agreement.

But it points out that the £50 million payout that Guy, 40, was reported to have received is inaccurate.

‘We have tried to maintain a dignified silence regarding the details of our divorce for the last few months whilst accepting the obvious media interest,’ the statement says.

‘A misleading and inaccurate statement, specifically in relation to the sums of money involved, was wrongly issued this week. The financial details of the settlement will remain private, save to say that both of us are happy with our agreement.’

Madonna and the director are yet to finalise custody arrangements for Rocco, 8, and adopted David Banda, 3, reports the BBC.

The pair were granted a decree nisi in November on the grounds of Guy’s 'unreasonable behaviour' - a month after they announced their separation.

Madge, 50, is also mum to Lourdes, 12, with ex Carlos Leon.

Madonna and ex- Guy Ritchie: Pair still to reach agreement over who’ll get kids over festive period

Madonna and ex-husband Guy Ritchie are said to be locked in a stalemate over who will have their children for Christmas.

The director wants to have traditional celebrations with sons Rocco, 8, and adopted David Banda, 3, at his Wiltshire mansion.

But Madonna, 50, who doesn’t observe the festivities because of her Kabbalah religion, wants the boys to stay in New York with her.

‘Under the terms of the divorce, it is actually up to Guy and Madonna to sort out the access,’ a source tells the Daily Mail.

‘Guy wants a traditional Christmas with his parents and the boys at Ashcombe but Madonna has just put her foot down.

'Madonna and Guy do not liaise at all on anything any more – it all goes through their PAs.’

Madge, who also has daughter Lourdes, 12, from a previous relationship, and Guy, 40, were granted a decree nisi in November.

Removal men were called to their London home yesterday to sort out their belongings.

‘Madonna wanted Guy’s stuff out,’ a source tells The Sun.

'They found it easy to split their things. Just like their marriage, there was Guy’s world and Madonna’s world.’

Madonna is said to have bought some gorgeous gifts for Alex Rodriguez’s kids

Madonna is said to have bought some gorgeous gifts for Alex Rodriguez’s kids.

The baseball star has been supporting the singer, who divorced Guy Ritchie, 40, on her Sticky & Sweet tour dates in Mexico City and Miami.

And in return she has splashed out on Christmas presents for his daughters Natasha, 3, and 7-month-old Ella.

‘Madge is so comfortable in the parental role,’ a source tells the Daily Mirror. ‘She also knows how happy it makes Alex when she shows her nurturing side.

‘She picked up a little red Burberry wool coat and a little black Burberry dress for Natasha. And for Ella, she ordered a round crib from Bonne Nuit and one of their tables.’

Earlier this year, Madonna, 50, issued a statement denying her friendship with A-Rod, 33, was responsible for the breakdown of his marriage to Cynthia Rodriguez, 34.

'I am not romantically involved in any way with Alex Rodriguez,' she said. 'I have nothing to do with the state of his marriage.'

Meanwhile, Madonna met Argentinean President Cristina Fernandez on Tuesday at the same palace where she filmed Evita 12 years ago.

Madonna and Madamism?

Is Madonna turning into a Madame puppet-face? Cityrag.com has coined (or propagated) the term "Madamism," which is a process some stars undergo as they have too much plastic surgery. They begin to look more and more like Madame the puppet. Other stars who may be undergoing Madamism include Priscilla Presley, Faye Dunaway, Cher, and maybe even Lara Flynn Boyle.

Check out cityrag.com for more details.

What's Happening to Madonna?

What's the story with Madonna's appearance? She seems to be getting thinner and thinner (check out her arms) yet her cheeks remain full and soft. Can this be due to plastic surgery?

I think it is. There are three ways to effectively add volume to the face. The first is facial fat grafting. This is one of my favorite plastic surgeries to perform because it is minimally invasive and can really return a nice, youthful softness to the face. The second way to add volume to the face is via solid implants. With the exception of a chin implant, I am not a fan of these types of facial implants. Some of them require screws to keep them in place. Due to their hard nature, they also do not achieve the softer look of facial fat grafting, or the third technique: Sculptra injections. I believe Madonna may have had Sculptra injections to her face over the last several years to retain volume and softness. Sculptra is FDA approved for HIV-related facial wasting, but is often used for general cosmetic reasons. I think it is a very effective way to enhance the face.

So why do I think Madonna has had Sculptra and not facial fat grafting? Since it appears the fat in the rest of her body has all but disappeared, I would expect the same to occur in her face. However, even with an extremely thin body, her cheeks remain full. Sculptra-enhanced cheeks should not deflate quite as much as fat-enhanced cheeks.

For more of my thoughts on Madonna's possible $100,000 worth of plastic surgery, check out last week's issue of In Touch Weekly.

Madonna - Plastic?

What looks unnatural about this recent photo of Madonna? Here's my take:
1. Her forehead, glabella (between the eyebrows), and eyes look virtually wrinkle-free. This is very unusual in a woman her age. My guess is that her plastic surgeon does a nice Botox job.
2. Her cheeks are very soft and full for someone with such low body fat. This can be a possible result of Fat Grafting or Sculptra Injections. My comments on her recent "bruise" photos can be seen in last week's In Touch Weekly.
3. She has a very nice jawline for someone her age. Has she had a possible well-done facelift?

Overall, I think she looks fantastic. What material is the Material Girl made of? Maybe Plastic?

Madonna's Black Eyes - Plastic Surgery?

Madonna was recently photographed with two black eyes, as shown on this photo. The current In Touch Weekly magazine has my comments on it, but I will also offer them here.

The most common cause of black eyes like this is trauma. Most people who are assaulted can get one black eye, but when the base of the skull is broken (such as in a bad car crash) then both eyes can often become black. Now, I seriously doubt she's been in a car crash or physically assaulted, so the next most likely culprit is surgery.
Lower blepharoplasty surgery is the most common cause of bruising under both eyes, as seen in this photo. While I saw this quite commonly with the traditional technique, the newer transconjunctival blepharoplasty (hidden scar) often doesn't create bruising.
Other common causes of bruising like this include rhinoplasty, facial fat grafting, and Restylane, Juvederm, or Sculptra injections under the eyes. Take your pick. I guess we'll see how she looks in the near future.
