Jennifer Connelly's weight loss
Jennifer Connelly’s weight loss is due to grief over her father’s death.
Connelly’s husband, Inkheart actor Paul Bettany, told OK! magazine that she was suffering as a result of her loss.
He was keen to diminish rumours surrounding Connelly’s weight loss.
Bettany said: “I will tell you. My wife just lost her father”.
Connelly’s latest film, He’s Just Not That Into You, hits cinema screens on 6th February.

Jennifer Connelly
Jennifer Lynn Connelly is an American Oscar-winning film actress. Although she has been working in the film industry since she was a teenager, and was catapulted to fame on the basis of her appearances in films like Labyrinth and Career Opportunities, she did not receive critical acclaim for her work until the 2000 drama Requiem for a Dream, and the 2001 biography A Beautiful Mind, for which she won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.
