Jessica Simpson's Mayer Meal

Jessica Simpson reportedly enjoyed an intimate lunch with ex-boyfriend John Mayer.

The singer-and-actress, who is currently dating American football star Tony Romo, secretly met John for a meal in Calabasas, California, recently and onlookers claimed they couldn't contain their joy at seeing each other.

One source told gossip website X17Online: "They were keen not to be seen together but they looked so happy to be in each other's company. It looked to me like they were more than just good friends!"

Musician John - who has been single since breaking up with Jennifer Aniston earlier this year - split from Jessica in November 2007. Friends claim the blonde beauty was left devastated by the end of the relationship.

Last year, it was claimed Jessica went on a drinking binge to drown her sorrows after learning John was dating Jennifer.

However, the 28-year-old beauty has always insisted she is happier than ever with Tony as he "saved" her.

Jessica - who is divorced from Nick Lachey - said: "I would always fall for guys I wanted to save. For the first time, I fell in love with someone who saved me."

Jessica Simpson Getting Golf Lessons

Jessica Simpson has asked Tiger Woods for golfing lessons.

The singer-and-actress - who has been sporting a seemingly fuller figure of late - wants to embrace a healthier lifestyle and so asked the US sportsman for tips.

A source said: "Jessica is taking it seriously. She even asked if Tiger Woods would give her some pointers, but he's been busy with his new baby."

As well as helping her to get in shape, Jessica, 28, thinks learning to play golf will bring her closer to her American football star boyfriend Tony Romo.

Jessica is taking it seriously. She even asked if Tiger Woods would give her some pointers, but he's been busy with his new baby.
Tony is a huge fan of the pastime, so Jessica thinks it could be the perfect way for them to spent time together.

She has already signed up for a set of lessons, and has splashed out $8,400 on a Louis Vuitton golf bag and clubs to ensure she looks stylish as she learns.

Jessica Simpson Desperate To Wed

AP Photo/Chris O'Meara

Jessica Simpson is worried her boyfriend will never propose.

The singer-and-actress has been dating American football quarterback Tony Romo for around 16 months, and is becoming increasingly frustrated at his unwillingness to commit.

A source claims Jessica said: "I know Tony loves me, but I don't know if he'll ever propose."

Jessica, 28, was convinced Tony, also 28, would pop the question on Valentine's Day (14.02.09) and was left devastated when he failed to do so.

A source said: "Jessica was really hoping she was going to get an engagement ring. She wanted one for Christmas, then she thought maybe New Year's Eve (31.12.08). Her last hope was that Tony would propose on Valentine's Day - but he didn't."

Jessica was not happy. He just wasn't picking up on the fact that she was starting to lose her patience.

The star was also said to be furious after Tony took her for a meal at exclusive New York restaurant The Waverly Inn but spent much of the evening texting on his phone.

A witness said: "Jessica was not happy. He just wasn't picking up on the fact that she was starting to lose her patience."

Jessica has been discussing her relationship woes with her 24-year-old sister Ashlee - who has three-month-old son Bronx Mowgli with her husband Pete Wentz - and her friends, who are also concerned Tony will never make her his wife.

A source told America's OK! magazine: "Ashlee has always been the more realistic, the more practical of the two sisters. And Ashlee knows how much her sister wants to be married and have a baby of her own. But as wonderful as Tony is, he is not the marrying kind - probably not for years."

Jessica Simpson ignored critics by performing in figure hugging clothes

Jessica Simpson ignored her critics by performing in a figure-hugging jacket and skin-tight trousers last night.

The singer's apparent weight gain was criticized when she sang in Florida last weekend.

And she made a thinly veiled retort to the jibes at a concert in Charlottesville, Virginia.

'Please remember, no matter what you go through in life, somebody else might have it harder,’ she told her fans.

'I feel like in our world today we focus on so many things that are completely pointless.

'Thank you for your support. Stay positive, and pray out loud.'

Meanwhile, TV star Kim Kardashian has defended Jessica: ‘Call me crazy, but when I saw the picture, I was like, "Oh my God, Jessica looks hot!"’

Jessica Simpson faces cheat claims

Jessica Simpson's boyfriend has been accused of cheating on her.

American football player Tony Romo reportedly visited Hollywood hotspot My House on January 16 - hours after the 28-year-old singer has flown out of Los Angeles - and then invited a group of people back to the home he shares with Jessica.

With the party in full swing, it is alleged Tony - who has been dating Jessica since November 2007 - disappeared upstairs with a stunning brunette for the rest of the evening.

A source told America's Star magazine: "Everyone was talking about it downstairs. The girls were saying it was so wrong and shady of Tony to cheat on Jessica - especially in her place! I just can't believe he would hook up with another woman at his own girlfriend's house."

Neither Jessica or Tony have commented on the claims.

Jessica has recently been the subject of scathing comments about her seemingly fuller figure, prompting her sister Ashlee to leap to her defence.

Ashlee wrote on her blog: "I am completely disgusted. Since when did a woman's weight become newsworthy? How can we expect teenage girls to love and respect themselves in an environment where we criticise a size two figure?

"I find it completely embarrassing and belittling to all women to read about a woman's weight or figure."

And we were talking back and forth, all while she was in the trunk." - Ken Paves, hairstylist

26. INCOGNITO: "Years ago, we went through this poetry phase, so we went to a little bookstore in Los Feliz. She had her hair pulled back, looking like Bookworm McGillicutty, and we were standing in line, and this girl says to Jessica, 'Please don't take this personally, but you look like a really smart version of Jessica Simpson.' And Jessica busted out laughing and said, 'No, she's beautiful. Thank you.'" - Ken Paves

JESSICA WEIGHS IN
"I collect lucky pennies that I find on the ground. I keep them in a Ziploc bag."
"I wear my grandmother's wedding ring on my thumb. She passed away, and I feel like she is my guardian angel, so I always keep the wedding ring on. Her wedding ring, not mine!"
"I've been contemplating taking a college course in religion. I love religion. I remember whenever the book The Da Vinci Code came out, the Discovery Channel did this three-night piece on it that I Tivoed and then watched eight times."

"I enjoy holding on to certain moments in my life. For instance, I found this $9 red iron rocking chair, and every time I look at it, I think of the first time I saw a rainbow: I was sitting on my grandfather's lap in a rocking chair that looked just like it. Or the first time I was onstage with Willie Nelson, he gave me his guitar pick. So I put it behind a black-and-white photo I framed of he and I. People don't know that the pick's there, but I do."

"I am the first person to go to Barnes & Noble and buy the new self-help book. I like to fill out the surveys, then I get my friends' opinions on how I answered to see if I was being honest with myself or not."

Jessica Simpson: Singer wants to become more spiritual

SINGER Jessica Simpson says she wants to take a college course in religion.

The star has been inspired to explore her spiritual side after seeing a documentary on The Da Vinci Code, which claims Jesus married and fathered a child.

"I've been contemplating taking a college course in religion. I love religion," Simpson told Marie Claire magazine.

"I remember whenever the book The Da Vinci Code came out, the Discovery Channel did this three-night piece on it that I recorded it and then watched eight times."

Simpson is divorced from 98 Degrees singer Nick Lachey and is now dating American football player Tony Romo.

She became famous for her misunderstandings when she starred in MTV reality show Newlyweds with Lachey.

Her most memorable blunders included thinking tinned tuna brand Chicken of the Sea was actually chicken, and believing buffalo wings were made of buffalos instead of chicken.

Simpson is not the only star thinking about going to university. Harry Potter actor Emma Watson has been seen visiting US universities, while Kate Bosworth, who deferred her offer of a place at America's prestigious Princeton University as a teenager, recently revealed she is considering further study.

Jessica Simpson Re-signs with Proactiv for $3 Million

According to Hollywoodrag.com, Jessica Simpson has recently re-signed to be the face of the anti-acne skin system Proactiv. According to their site:

The blond actress - who angered Proactiv bosses in 2005 when she put her clear skin down to prescription medicine Accutane - has filmed new TV adverts for the company. Jessica previously praised the treatment, saying: "I just had so much build up and so many clogged pores that once I started using Proactiv Solution, my face was just shining." Jessica is one of many female celebrities to promote the "three-step treatment system", others have included Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan and Jennifer Love Hewitt.

Proactiv contains benzoyl peroxide, which is a common ingredient in over-the-counter anti-acne skin products (such as Oxy). For my patients who ask about acne treatment, I recommend that they consult with my skin specialist Otilia Wingert. She usually starts them on a medical grade skin care regimen, like Obagi's CLENZIderm M.D. system combined with Retin-A or a retinol product. We've been really happy with what we've seen with this. Laser treatments can also help some people with acne problems.

Severe acne may be best treated with Accutane, which is a prescription medication that decreases the oils produced by the sebaceous glands. It can cause serious side effects, however, and should not be taken by someone who is trying to get or is pregnant. Accutane is usually prescribed by a dermatologist and can create some amazing results, but with a price.

Thanks for reading.
